Beer Chicken recipe

This recipe can be made with any part of the chicken, not just the thighs and legs, but these are the tastiest parts of the chicken and make this recipe perfect.

Step 1 Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Step 2 Put the cup of water and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

Step 3 Heat three tablespoons of oil in a pot, when it is hot, add the arbol chilies and fry them for 15 seconds, then remove them.

Step 4 Brown the chicken on both sides over high heat. Then add the onion and garlic, mix and cook until the onion is caramelized.

Step 5 Now add the red bell pepper, carrot, potato, a teaspoon of chicken broth powder, bay leaves, a little ground pepper, half a teaspoon of oregano, and a quarter teaspoon of thyme. Mix and fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 6 Next, add the arbol chilies, beer, tomato puree, and the water with cornstarch. Mix, wait for it to boil, and add salt if necessary. Now reduce the heat to medium and let it cook until the chicken and vegetables are well done.

Step 7 After 30 minutes, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Step 8 Serve with rice. Enjoy!
