Brioche Donuts Recipe

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and add vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. In a small bowl, dissolve the briochin yeast in lukewarm milk.
  4. Gradually add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture, stirring well after each addition.
  5. Add the egg mixture to the dough and mix until a sticky ball forms.
  6. Cut the butter into small pieces and add them to the dough. Knead the dough until the butter is fully incorporated and the dough is smooth.
  7. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
  8. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles.
  9. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  10. Use a donut cutter to cut out donut shapes from the dough.
  11. Place the donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover them with a clean cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  12. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  13. Bake the donuts for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  14. Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool completely.
  15. Once the donuts have cooled, you can decorate them with icing, sprinkles, or your favorite toppings.
