Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
Add the Greek yogurt and milk to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth.
Pour half of the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter, then drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the cream cheese.
Top with the remaining bread batter and spread evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, drizzle additional salted caramel sauce over the top before slicing and serving.
Variations & Tips
Feel free to experiment with different flavors; you can substitute the salted caramel with chocolate or fruit sauces. Adding nuts, such as walnuts or pecans, can add a delightful crunch to the bread. For a more holiday-themed bread, consider adding some cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter for a warm, spiced flavor.
