How to Make the Patties:
1 pound of ground beef
7 pieces of rye bread 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
half a teaspoon of garlic powder
Toss with salt and pepper.
Cheddar cheese, 6 slices
6 thin slices of provolone
6 tablespoons of unsalted, melted butter
The secret sauce calls for ½ cup of mayonnaise.

Divide the meat into three flattened patties that are about the size and shape of your bread slices.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste, and coat the meat well on both sides.
Fry the patties until they are no longer pink in the middle, about ten minutes on each side. Eliminate from the skillet.
Combine all of the sauce ingredients and stir until combined while the meat cooks.
After you’ve wiped off the pan, lower the heat to medium and cook the beef.
Make sure to coat each slice of bread with butter.
Toast three slices of bread in a pan, butter sides down.
Place a beef patty, two pieces of cheddar cheese, two slices of provolone cheese, and two slices of bread on top of each slice.
Before placing the remaining pieces of bread sauce-side down on top of the patty that is melting in the skillet, brush a small amount of sauce onto their non-buttered sides.
Once one side of the bread is well toasted and the provolone has melted, turn the burger over.
Once all sides of the bread are toasted, it’s ready to be served.
