Start by separating the egg whites from the yolks. Store the egg whites in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt and vanilla sugar. Gradually add sugar.
Add the egg yolks to the mixture and incorporate the sifted flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
Add the boiling water and mix well. Pour the mixture into a baking mold and cook at 180℃ for about 35 minutes.
Prepare the caramel by melting the sugar until it turns golden. Add the hot cream and butter, mix and leave to cool.
Cut the dough in half and moisten one of the two parts with caramel.
Whip the cream and add the cream cheese. Spread the mixture on the caramelized part.
Cover with the other half of the dough and leave to cool in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
Melt the chocolate with the butter and spread a layer on the cake.
Garnish with the reserved caramel and serve your delicious Chocolate Tiramisu with Caramel!
