This recipe is even better than the restaurant version, my hubby loves it

An American favorite, General Tso’s Chicken has become a mainstay in many Chinese-American families. Even though it has the name of a renowned Chinese military commander and politician, General Tso Tsung-tang, nobody knows where this dish came from. There are some who place its invention in Taiwan and others who place it in New York City. No matter where it originated from, General Tso’s Chicken—and especially this slow cooker version—has become a global favorite.

One of my favorite recipes from my childhood was General Tso’s Chicken. When I wanted to celebrate anything special, I would always ask for it. Having said that, I often discovered that versions served in restaurants were either too greasy or flavorful imbalanced. I’m going to share this slow cooker recipe with you since it’s better for you than the old-fashioned deep-fried one. I have no doubt that this dish will quickly become a favorite in your household.
